How We Help

We support first responders, military members, veterans, and their families by offering novel and innovative programs that treat PTSD and Moral Injury. Informed by years of experience, we help individuals, organizations, and communities better understand the psychological effects of front-line work, with the goal to reduce stigma, encourage early intervention, and help to maintain enthusiasm for a life of service.

Programs

Our programs connect research, lived experience, and practical support to better understand and address trauma among first responders, military members, veterans, and their families. Through targeted initiatives, education, and collaboration, we work to reduce stigma, strengthen resilience, and support informed, compassionate responses to trauma at both individual and organizational levels.

Request Support

If you or someone you care about is struggling, you don’t have to face the journey alone. Reach out to access expert support, guidance, and trusted mentorship to help you and your family navigate the path to a better future.

Crisis & Immediate Help

While we do our best to respond to requests in a timely fashion, we are not an emergency service. If you or someone you care about are  in crisis, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

  • There are increasing work stresses on our First Responders and Military Members for a variety of reasons, which is resulting in an increased number of insurance claims for psychological injuries and prolonged absences from work. This is unsustainable, both in financial terms and in terms of the quality of emergency service available to society. But the real cost is to the affected first responders, who may have their lives ravaged as a cost of being in service.

  • Project Trauma Support is one resource for first responders focused on “deep, personal connection,” peer group support and utilizing physicians with lived experience.
